Dr. Yehudi Felman
Dr. Yehudi Felman attended BTA, Yeshiva College, and graduated from YU’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Following an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital he completed his residency in dermatology at Columbia-Presbyterian in New York. Yehudi also received an MA and M. Phil in Hebrew Literature from Columbia University Graduate School and was appointed Assistant Professor of Hebrew at YU in 1970, teaching Tanakh and Ancient and Medieval Hebrew literature in the Erna Michael School of Jewish Studies and at Stern College from 1970 to 1976. He served as Director of the Bureau STI (sexually transmitted infections) Control for the New York City Health Department from 1976-1985. From 1967 until 2009 he was Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Downstate and in his own private practice of dermatology and STI. Yehudi retired in 2008 in order to learn Torah full time.
