Rabbi Ike Hanon attended Yeshivah of Flatbush High School. He continued his learning at Yeshivat Torat Shraga in Jerusalem followed by three years of study at Yeshivat Rabbenu Yitzchak Elchanan under the renowned scholar and posek Rabbi Mordechai Willig. During this time he also earned his B. A. in Psychology from Y.U. Rabbi Hanon then joined the Sephardic Rabbinical College in Brooklyn under the leadership of Rabbi Shimon Alouf and Rabbi Harold Sutton. During his time in the Rabbinical College Rabbi Hanon taught in several community learning programs, lecturing on a range of topics including Tanach, Halacha, Gemara, and Mussar. He served as Rabbi of Young Kol Israel Congregation for two years, followed by two years in Israel at Yeshivat Moreshet Yerushalayim, a program co-founded by Rabbi Sutton and Mr. Ezra S. Ashkenazi. He is currently teaching at Hillel Yeshiva in Deal, NJ and recently completed a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from NYU Steinhardt.
